The Dexter 3-43 Axle Spring Seat is essential for securely mounting your trailer's axle to the suspension system. Designed for 3,500-lb axles with a 2-3/8" round diameter, it provides stable positioning and support when paired with 1-3/4" or 2" wide leaf springs. The flat side includes a cutout that aligns with the leaf spring’s raised knob to prevent shifting, ensuring a firm hold for heavy-duty use.
Features
Weld-On Design: Easily welds onto 2-3/8" diameter round axles (typical 3.5k axle)
Compatible with 1-3/4" or 2" Wide Leaf Springs: Fits a range of suspension setups.
Anti-Rotation Cutout: Prevents axle movement by fitting securely over the leaf spring knob.
Note: 2 spring seats are required for each axle
This brake drum was put into service in May of 2013 to supercede Dexter one-piece hub and drum combinations 008-415-02 and 008-415-04. The one-piece hub and drum combinations went into service after July of 2009, and they're no longer available. You will have to switch over to the new two-piece hub and drum design.
Dexter K71-355-00 Drum Mounting Screws fit 9K and 10K Dexter GD drums.
